The main task of general outdoor lighting is to show the road leading to the property, the entrance, the house number, and to draw attention to some kind of danger with its light. The primary purpose of garden lighting is therefore to create suitable lighting conditions at night, and thus the possibility of safe traffic. In addition, garden lights also have a decorative function. During the day, the lighting fixture decorates the garden, and at night, the light effect created by the lamp.

The areas of use of decorative floor lamps are presented below.

Garden floor lamps 47-60 cm high:

They can be used to illuminate garden paths, sidewalks, and narrow paths. Smaller floor lamps can be used to highlight individual plants from the darkness, but they are excellent for any kind of decorative lighting.

60-90 cm high outdoor lamps:

Especially in summer, it often happens that we are outside in the garden even after dark. The elegant lamps can also contribute to the atmosphere of family conversations and barbecues in the garden. It can be used to illuminate terraces, barbecue areas, and garden rest areas.

200 cm high outdoor poles:

Candelabras with mainly classic lines and modern-looking pole lamps make the overall look of garden lighting more exclusive, and they also enable the lighting of larger areas. Luminaires with a light point height of ~2 meters higher than a person offer a special solution for lighting larger gardens and landscaped (or landscaped) areas belonging to family houses, luxury villas, and condominiums.

Outdoor wall lights:

The wall arms and torches mounted on facades not only help traffic at night, but are also suitable for highlighting important points of the house, or simply making the image of the property visible from the street more aesthetic. The light of the wall lamps shining upwards or downwards or in two directions provides a different effect when placed at different heights.

IP protection

Ceiling lights used on terraces and garages are not exposed to large amounts of water, so IP44 protection may be sufficient here. However, if you want to place them in a place more exposed to the elements, get a luminaire with higher IP protection

Color temperature is also important, as is smart lighting

Many people choose the warmer, yellowish shade in the garden as well, because it is more relaxing and pleasing to the eye. Nevertheless, there are those who vote for the colder light.
